My Unit 3 project is a perfect example for a good use of technology tools because it was one of my best uses of the technological resources at hand. A daunting task for this project was figuring out how to keep the balance between keeping the audience engaged, meanwhile getting an appropriate amount of visual knowledge across. At first it was difficult to figure out a way to keep this balance while not distracting the audience. Then, I found one of the easiest ways was to use educational, relevant pictures with minimal text and simple transitions that supported my oral presentation. I found it quite exciting to find the perfect use of visual support was to simply use images. In the future, I would like to find a way to incorporate more facts in text form in my presentation without losing the audience.
This PowerPoint was the Visual Aid for my Unit 4 Project. It was extremely difficult for me to create this project because it was a partner project, and I struggle with communicating my ideas. Finally, I managed to overcome my struggles and create a good joint visual aid by becoming familiar with my partner and having open communication about our ideas and what we wanted to happen. Next time, I would make sure I get to know my partner before we begin the project.
This powerpoint was the presentation for the road trip project we had to do in History class, a collaborative project. The project was quite difficult for me because I was working together with people I didn't know well. We didn't get along very well at first because we didn't know each other well, but eventually we learned to overcome our differences and work together as a group. After we worked out our differences, I liked being able to split up the projects work evenly among others.I also enjoyed watching all of our different components of the project coming together to create one collaborative project. Next time, I would try to get to know my group's strengths and weaknesses before I began working.

My piece of evidence for "Research and Assessment Tools" was my Unit 3 Works Cited because it really shows my ability to locate valuable resources for research in various media sources. I found it difficult to know what sources on the internet to trust. Eventually, I figured out that it is best to use sources you previously knew and trusted, so I used About.com, Eyewitness to History, and PBS.org. I also used the online text book because it had a great amount of information I knew to be true. In the end, I found the most useful sources to be the text book and PBS.org. Next time researching, I would use sources I already knew to be trustworthy and factual.
